Getting To Camp
The site is located 80 miles from West Yellowstone, Montana, and 90 miles from Jackson Hole, Wyoming (the Tetons are visible from the site). We are bordered by a unique sand dune feature to the north and a massive lava flow to the west. An elk ranch shares our southern border.

Driving into the site, one is misled to think that we will be camping in a spud field. But once you pass through the gate, you enter a beautiful, natural, park-like retreat that has been the home of Rabbitstick for over 30 years.
Natural raw materials that are needed for some of the classes may be harvested on-site, while others are brought to the site. We make every effort to leave the site as beautiful as we found it. A service staff works hard to mitigate all impacts, but we ask all participants to share our concern for the site and care for it in every way possible. Please limit fires to fire pans and vehicular traffic to established roads, remove all trash and refrain from impacting local flora and fauna.
A Google map is provided for you at the bottom of the Home Page - Click here.

If you fly into the Idaho Falls airport on the Saturday before the event begins and out on the Saturday at the end, you will need to arrange times to pick you up and get you back in advance with Backtracks. The fee is $20 per person and needs to be arranged in advance with the office. These are the only days we offer this service.
However, due to the expense of some flights, you might want to consider flying into Salt Lake City and taking the commercial shuttle from the SLC airport to the AmericInn in Rexburg. It is about a 4 hour drive but could save you some money. Once again we at Backtracks can arrange to pick you up at the AmericInn and get you back on those Saturdays free of charge - Must schedule in advance. If you would like to check out this option go to www.saltlakeexpress.com. Please use regular daytime hours for your shuttle arrivals and departures

Free Greyhound pickups are also available with advance notice.
